BOOKING TERMS
Any cancellations, postponement or significant changes must be notified to us in writing as soon as possible and, in any event, prior to the commencement of your stay.
If the booking is made through a third party not on www.hotelriviera.co.uk or over the phone on 01395515201, please contact the third party to make any changes to your booking as the hotel is not in the position cancel or amend the booking on this occasion due to the payment being made to the third party.
Advance purchase rate bookings are non-refundable, pleased be aware that the booking cannot be cancelled or amended under this policy.
We strongly recommend that our guests take out suitable holiday insurance, to cover the total cost of their booking in the event of cancellation. To this regard, we enclose some Travel Insurance Options which may be of assistance to you in the event that you do not have an annual travel insurance policy which provides suitable cover.
On cancellation of a confirmed booking, we will retain your deposit payment. You will remain responsible for payment to us of the total cost of your booking (less any applicable deductions, as set out below).
Your responsibility to pay the total cost of your booking upon cancellation will be subject to the following deductions:
· Non-consumed items - for all cancellations (with the exception of Christmas bookings), we will deduct 20% from the full cost of your booking to reflect items not consumed during your stay; and
· Re-let accommodation - we always endeavour to re-let accommodation which is subject to a cancelled booking:
- where we are successful in securing a new booking/bookings and all rooms within the same category as that booked are fully occupied, you will be issued with a full refund of all sums received by us to date in respect of your cancelled booking (including your deposit). It is possible that we may not be able to re-let a cancelled booking in its entirety. Where this situation arises, we will refund you only in respect of the dates that we have successfully rebooked accommodation (pursuant with this provision), however you will remain responsible for payment to us of the cost of any element of your booking which we are unable to re-let.
- where we are unsuccessful in securing a new booking for the same category of room, you will remain responsible for the full cost of your booking (less the 20% deduction outlined above).
Note: Where you have booked a specific room and you cancel your booking for any reason, we reserve the right to reallocate your room to an existing booking. Where we do this but we are not successful in securing another booking for the same category of room, you will still be responsible for payment to us of the total cost of your booking.
If you are entitled to a deduction as outlined above, we will refund any sums owing to you within 30 days of receipt of notice of your cancellation, or, where the deduction arises as a result of us re-letting accommodation, within 30 days of us securing a new booking.
Non-refundable payment of the cost of your first night will be due 5 days before arrival date.
You may cancel free of charge up to 5 days prior to arrival.
In order that we can be best prepared to cater for guests with specific disabilities or dietary needs, it would be most appreciated if you could call us in advance on 01395 515201 to discuss your requirements.
Guests with disabilities that would need to be considered in the event of an evacuation should inform reception on registration.
Rooms are available from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival.
Guests are most welcome to arrive at the Hotel beforehand, check in and use the facilities.
Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure, however, as above, guests are most welcome to use the Hotel's facilities after this time.
Parking is available at the rear of the hotel or at a nearby car park. Alternatively, covered garages are available at the hotel at £10.00 per day.
Accounts: The account is to be settled in full on departure. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. The management reserve the right to refuse credit to any guest.

AA Rosette Restaurant - Breakfast 8:00 am until 10:00 am
Lunch (Monday - Saturday) 12:30 pm until 02:00 pm
(Sunday Lunch 12:30 pm until 02:00 pm)
Afternoon Tea - 10:00am until 05:30pm
Dinner 07:00pm until 09:00 pm - our dress code for dinner in the AA Rosette Restaurant is Smart Causal
As an alternative, less formal dining is available in our Regency Bar or Lounge
