AA Rosette Restaurants in Sidmouth

We have a proud reputation for fine cuisine in our Sidmouth restaurant. Our Executive Chef and his team prepare discerning menus that combine international dishes with the best English cooking, featuring a selection of fresh local produce with an emphasis on seafood. Our restaurant in Sidmouth is open to non-residents, and an extensive a la Carte menu is available, as well as Table d’hote Luncheon and Dinner menus. 

Special diets and vegetarian meals can be made available by arrangement in our Sidmouth restaurant. Dinner can be ordered until 9pm. We are also pleased to make special arrangements for pre-theatre meals and also for children’s high tea. Light refreshments are always available and can be served in the Regency Bar, in the Foyer or on the terrace during the summer months.

Gracious living includes being served traditional Devonshire cream teas in the lounge or outside on the terrace in the summer. Later, you will be spoilt for choice from the extensive Sidmouth restaurant dinner menus. Local seafood is a speciality in the elegant bay-view dining room where every dish is a pure delight, expertly served and complemented by a wide selection of wines.

Open until midnight, the Regency Bar has recently been completely refurbished to create a superbly relaxing environment, with entertainment being provided on many evenings by our resident pianist. The perfect retreat, at the end of the day, the Regency Bar, affords a wonderful atmosphere of luxurious tranquillity and impeccable service.

Locally caught, beautifully fresh fish, including Turbot, Bass, Red Mullet, John Dory, Brill, Dover Sole and Lemon Sole, as well as fresh crab and lobsters all come from Flying Fish. Their buyers are up before sunrise every day to select the best seafood straight from the local Day Boats. Flying Fish promise to bring you the finest Cornish fish from ship to plate in less than 48 hours. 

Our speciality and smoked fish comes from Loch Fyne in Argyle, Scotland. An employee-owned business, committed to producing and supplying the highest quality food, using sustainable methods.

Our poultry comes from M.C. Kelly, Crediton; a business with a long tradition as a producer and supplier of poultry to the Westcountry. The birds’ welfare is a high priority for this supplier, resulting in a far superior taste and flavour.

Purveyors of quality and a family run business since 1957; the fresh, local fruit and vegetables served in our Sidmouth restaurant come from Goosemoor Foodservice.
